RRB Group D Syllabus 2023 and Exam Pattern

RRB Group D Selection Process 2023

  1. Computer-Based Test (CBT): The first stage is a computer-based test, where candidates have to answer multiple-choice questions related to General Intelligence and Reasoning, Mathematics, General Science, and General Awareness. The CBT consists of 100 questions within a specified time limit.
  2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualify for the CBT are called for the Physical Efficiency Test. In this stage, candidates have to perform physical tasks such as running, lifting weights, etc., to demonstrate their physical fitness. This phase is qualifying in nature, and candidates need to meet the specified criteria to move to the next stage.
  3. Document Verification: Candidates who clear the PET are called for document verification. In this stage, candidates need to provide the necessary documents to verify their eligibility, such as educational certificates, age proof, caste certificate (if applicable), etc.

The RRC Group D Syllabus for General Awareness as provided in the official notification of RRC Group D is as given below:

RRB Group D PET (Physical Efficiency Test)

  • Based on the merit of the candidates in the CBT, candidates shall be called for PET three times the community-wise total vacancy of the Posts notified against RRBs / RRCs.
  • Passing the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is mandatory and the same will be qualifying in nature.
  • Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from appearing for PET.

The criterion for PET for Railway Group D is as under
